CHTM recently co-sponsored the first annual Filament Science Multidisciplinary University Research Initiative (FS MURI), funded by the US Army Research Office. UNM has pioneered this area of physics, and the workshop brought together a world-class team of participants equipped with the tools and expertise to elevate filamentation to a precision engineering discipline.
